Just returned from the most perfect getaway. Manhattan has it all from the great museums, theater at it's best, restaurants (the best in the world in my opinion) and the beautiful Central Park. Take advantage of the "Off Broadway" shows. We did and the prices are very reasonable. Saw "Danny and Sylvia Kaye" a glimpse into the early career of Danny Kaye. Show takes place in the St. Luke's Church Theater right in Restaurant Row district, 46th St. between 8th and 9th Ave. Off to dinner at Carmines on 44th Street. My favorites Linguine Pomodoro and Chicken Scarpiello are the downfall of any diet. Who cares - there is always tomorrow!!!! Having lived in Manhattan for nine years prior to Florida, it was great to recapture the excitement of the city. Everyone should experience Manhattan at least once in their lifetime.
